Is It Up to Students to Evaluate Teachers?
The past few years have witnessed a mounting number of universities allowing students to evaluate their teachers and even decide if they can stay on their positions or not. To this practice, peoples attitudes differ considerably. Some applaud it warmly whereas others criticize and even condemn it harshly.
Proponents of the practice may list the following reasons. In the first place, they assert that students are the people who know the most clearly about the teaching performance of a teacher, so they should have the say in evaluating him or her. In the second place, they contend that students have paid for their education, so they have the right to decide which teacher should be employed.
Opponents, however, point out that it is dangerous to leave the right to students to evaluate teachers. For one thing, students may not know what ought to be taught and how it should be taught; they may only judge a teacher according to his temper and even accent or appearance. For another, in order to please students, some teachers may resort to some improper means.
Personally, I believe that both views are justifiable, and we should achieve a balance between them by employing the evaluating approach in a reasonable and beneficial way. To be specific, students should be allowed to evaluate their teachers, but they may not be the only decision-maker in the teachers fate.

As we can see, the real estate advertisementis everywhere in the city. However, the real estate market strong impetus firstcame from the effective demand for the release of individuals.
現(xiàn)在看到年輕人變成房奴不奇怪，因為中國人一致認(rèn)為結(jié)婚得買房。就像我們所見到的，城市里到處都是房地產(chǎn)廣告。然而，房地產(chǎn)市場如此火爆是受個人購房需求的增長影響的。
By storing most of their wealth in real estate, many Chinese households have become house price dependent. They dream about that they will have a happy family life after they have a house of their own, but as a matter of fact, a family like that has to repay the loan principal and interest with 40%-50% of disposable income or even higher proportion every year. Undoubtedly, it will affect the normal consumption, make family life quality drops, and even make people feel depression of slavery.
中國人因為把金錢都投入到房產(chǎn)中而變得拮據(jù)。他們夢想有了自己的房子之后生活就會很愉快，但是事實上，像這樣的家庭每年都要從可調(diào)動的資金里拿出40%-50%或者更高的錢去償還貸款本金和利息。毫無疑問的，這會影響正常的消費，讓家庭生活質(zhì)量下降，甚至讓人有奴役版的`壓迫感。
Unlike the house slave, some young couple chose not to buy house formar riage, they rent an apartment, and use the rest money to enjoy life, likebuy something good for parents, take a trip when they like to. By contrast,their pressure is far smaller than house slave; they don’t have to worry about mortgage. In my point of view, I won’t become a house slave unless a have money to buy a house.
不像那些房奴，有些年輕夫婦就選擇結(jié)婚不買房，他們租公寓，然后用剩下的錢去享受生活，像給父母買些好東西，想去旅行的時候去旅行。與之相比，他們的壓力比房奴要小得很多，他們不用去擔(dān)心貸款。在我看來，我不想成為房奴，除非我有錢買房子。
To conclude, become a home mortgage slave is really stressful, why don’t we abandon the conception that “we don’t get marry unless we own a house”. Use the extra money to make your life more colorful?
